You can select from a list of toolbars in the dialog View > Toolbars. The scaffmax command bar is included in this list. Select a checkbox to display the toolbar in the user interface. Toolbars can be fixed on the margin and can be positioned side by side or one above the other.
Views toolbar
The buttons allow you to switch quickly between the 3D building model views. The bar offers the 6 default views Isometric, Top, Front, Right, Back and Left.
Model Info
We recommend to carry out the following settings in menu Window > Model Info:
- Click Animation and deactivate option Enable scene transitions.
- Click Dimensions and
- select option Align to dimension line and Outside.
- click Expert dimension settings and select checkbox Show radius/diam prefix.
Creating a template
Modify the settings that you want to save with the template, e.g. toolbars, model info. Each new project will then start with this settings and the same user interface:
- When starting scaffmax, you choose Simple – Meters.
- The drawing area should be empty. You may erase the start figure.
- Select File > Save As Template ...
- Type a Name, e.g. Scaffolding Meters.
- Type a Description, e.g. Template for scaffmax.
- The File name will be filled automatically.
- Select the checkbox Use as default template.
- The next time you start scaffmax, the new default template is already selected under My templates and the user interface/model info are set accordingly.
