Description
Components from the product list can be manually inserted into the scaffold. Using insertion points, a preview is shown of how the selected component is inserted into the scaffold.

If you have executed the function Block wall-related scaffolding, activate the tag to which the element is to be assigned in the standard folder. |
Prerequisites
- A scaffolding has already been created.
- In the system settings, Representation of the components = Simple 2020 is set.
Steps
Click Open item list command bar.
in the scaffmaxSelect an item in the list.
The item is highlighted.Move the mouse cursor to the position where you want to insert the component.
The possible docking points are shown as pink dots (see left margin).
Place the cursor on a pink dot, the component will automatically be inserted in the correct position.
This is a preview of the closest insertion point.
in the direction of the insertion point.
The cursor is displayed as a crosshair.Move the mouse cursor near the insertion point.
The target turns green and the component is automatically inserted in the right place.
This is a preview for the closest insertion point (component is blue).
The possible docking points are shown as pink dots (see left margin).The component can be aligned with the arrow keyskeys on the keyboard.
← or → | Rotate the component.
↑ or ↓ | Moving the component in height (along the Z axis).
With the help of the End key, the alignment of the component can be cancelled.
Left-click to insert the component.
A click in an empty drawing area or pressing the space bar ends the action- You can place further components.
- Press the space bar or click Select in the toolbar to quit the function.
Result
You inserted a component and docked it to the scaffold.
