Description
You can Use this to create your own parts, such asweights components, e.g. Weights or heavy-duty supports. You can draw the part component with the SketchUp functions and describe it in more detail in a dialog.
The drawing is then saved in a specific folder and is then available as a component in the item list for use in other drawings.
Click points can be added to custom components, allowing them to be docked together just like items from scaffolding manufacturers.
Your own parts components are displayed in the material list on a separate tab in the material list and are also included in the reports.
Prerequisites
- Use a new, blank drawing.
Steps
- Open a new drawing (File> New from Template).
- Remove the start figure and draw the new component.
- Click on Advanced features in the scaffmax command bar.
The scaffmax functions dialog is displayed. - Double-click the line Part.
The Definition of user component dialog is displayed. - In the Component name line, double-click in the Content field and enter a name.
- Enter the article number, item (=description), weight (kg), time (seconds) and price (euros) in this way.
- Click the Own component option.
- Click Accept.
The scaffmax Infos/Errors dialog is displayed. - Click Quit.
The part is saved as a SketchUp drawing in the ..\sc2021\sc_systems\user\userparts\part~component name folder. - Close the drawing.
Result
You have created your own part and saved it as a SketchUp drawing. The part can be used as a component in other drawings.
